Tara: Lead Dental Assistant
Like many of our team members here, we are proud to say that Tara is a Colorado native as well, and from right here in Westminster, Colorado. While Tara is not a fan of watching sports, she is quite athletic herself with a hobby of weightlifting. Other hobbies of her include crocheting and painting. Those artistic skills come in handy in dentistry! When asked about her favorite food, Tara will let you know that pho is her order. For vacation time, Tara enjoys leaving our dry climate here to visit Costa Rica to get some beach time in. Her favorite TV show is The Office. Her favorite book is Redwall, and when it comes to music, her favorite artist is Derek Pope. Tara made the wonderful decision last year to join the dental field, and we were fortunate to have her join our team shortly after she finished dental assisting school! Among her favorite parts of her role on the team is the quick pace, the variety of procedures done throughout the day, and helping to improve the quality of life and general health of the patients.
Jordyn: Hygiene Coordinator
Jordyn is a native of Beaver Dam, WI, lived in Lakewood, but she now with her husband Robert, son Magnus, and their 2 dogs, live in Albuquerque. Being from Wisconsin, this Green Bay Packers fan loves cheese! She likes her cheese plain, with crackers, or on pretty much anything. Jordyn is very active and enjoys activities such as running (6 half marathons, 1 full marathon!), yoga, cooking, hiking, camping, reading, traveling, meeting new people, and learning new things. Her favorite movie is Legally Blonde, favorite show is New Girl, and favorite book is Tiny Beautiful Things by Cheryl Strayed. In terms of music, at the top of her favorite artist list is John Mayer. When Jordyn goes on vacation, Lake Tahoe is her destination of choice and tubing and wakeboarding are her favorite activities there. Jordyn has been in the dental field for 6 years, and is now a huge help to team Dentistry Golden Ridge through remote communication. She’ll be on the other side of the phone for you as if she’s right here in the office!
Haeliey: Hygienist
Haeliey is originally from Gainesville TX, where she met her high school sweetheart Ashton, and after getting married, they moved to Colorado for the outdoor lifestyle. She and Ashton just welcomed identical twin boys at the end of 2023! They also have 2 cats named Dot and Scribble. Haeliey enjoys Colorado hikes with her family and continues to explore her new mountain home. Her favorite movies are How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Hocus Pocus, and on occasion she likes to check out a good book from the library. For music, Haeliey likes all types of music, but 80s and 90s genres are her favorite. She doesn’t have a favorite sports team, but does enjoy watching sports with her husband. When asked about her favorite food, ice cream is a quick response. Haeliey has been practicing dental hygiene for 5 years, and loves helping patients feel comfortable with their oral health. It is also very rewarding for her to see her patients’ oral health improve. Fun fact about Haeliey: her mother tried to put every vowel into her name!
Wendie: Office Manager
Wendie is a Colorado native! She is originally from the Denver area where she still calls home, with her husband and son. It is no surprise that Wendie’s favorite sports teams are Colorado teams. She enjoys cheering for the Broncos, Avalanche, Nuggets and the Rockies. We’re with you on this, Wendie! Her love for the outdoors goes hand in hand with being a Colorado native. Wendie loves all things outdoors. She is very into fitness, and enjoys snowboarding, biking, golfing and water sports. Wendie’s favorite book is Who Moved My Cheese, and when it comes to movies, horror movies are her favorite! Her favorite foods are Mexican, Italian and Sushi. For vacations, Wendie loves warm beach vacations. San Diego and Cabo are her favorite destinations. Wendie has been in the dental field for 15 years. She started as a dental assistant and now enjoys front office. The reason she loves being in the dental field is because a smile is a powerful thing. It can change your life and create confidence. She looks forward to seeing your smile!
